Chapter Improvement Projects

May 1st was an important date in the history of Chapter 563.   On this Saturday morning, after the regular monthly breakfast, two important votes were taken and they both passed unanimously.

The second vote was taken to get your approval to spend a significant amount of money to refurbish the kitchen area, add a computer center, and cabinets to house our library. This project is being managed by our youngest member, Jeffery Meyer, to fulfill one of his obligations to become an Eagle Scout .

As  you can see the kitchen area is under way with a new wall to support the cabinets.  Jeffery Meyer and a few fellow Scouts have put in several days or work moving some of the junk out of the hanger and assembling a computer center and book cases for the library area.

The computer station will provide a place for the flight simulator donated by Mack and Jean Mc Laughlin.  Rob and Jeffery Meyer will donate a computer which will run Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The bottom pictures show the completed kitchen and lybrary/computer area.   Come out to the hangar and check it out.
