We are Chapter 563 of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), located at the Mt. Hawley Airport (3MY) in Peoria, Illinois. Whether you build them, fly them, own them, or simply enjoy chatting about them, you'll fit right in here! Chartered in 1976, we have a long-standing reputation for promoting aviation education and fostering community. From our semi-monthly pancake breakfasts to our numerous youth programs, we're dedicated to sharing the passion for flight with the next generation. We meet often to share stories, technical knowledge, and our love for all things aviation; we'd love to have you join us!

Our most recent newsletter is the September issue. Highlights include the successful revival and departure of the donated 1964 Skyhawk, Ray Scholar Charlie McKee passing his written exam, and an update on some challenges with the Cruzer build. Read up on two large Illinois aviation events this month: the National Stearman Fly-in and Midwest Aviation Expo.
